"Studies of Disgusting Turkeys and Vultures"

Created in the winter of 2020, my Sophomore year, these are a couple of image studies of King Vultures and "Nondescript Turkeys," in pencil and colored pencil respectively.

 I chose to study these birds not only for their imposing forms, but also because these were some of the ugliest birds I had ever seen. When I saw the image from which I referenced that bottom right turkey, I realized I simply had to draw such a tragedy of a creature.
